Comments:

We'll begin our adventure with an adage: eat the frog! The hardest thing you'll have to do on this tour is probably the first thing you'll have to do. After questioning your life decisions at 6 a.m., we'll make sure to boost your energy with a nice rakija shot before boarding the minibus. The route we take will provide us with some incredible photo stops along the way, so expect some stunning views and stories about Montenegro in the early morning hours. We'll make a quick stop at Eco Village Camp around 9.30 a.m. to eat a delicious breakfast that has been prepared for us. After another ten minutes of driving to our starting point, the fun can begin!

The trail from Sedlo mountain pass takes us into the heart of Mt. Durmitor, where we will hike near the famous Sareni pasovi, a well-known geo-heritage site, stop for a break next to Zeleni Vir (small glacier pond/lake) located at 2028 meters (6653 feet) above sea level, and, if we're lucky, see a chamois run on the steep crags before heading to the finish climb. Keep an eye on your step for the next hour and a half as we make our way to the summit of Durmitor Mountain – the most popular Montenegro hiking spot! And at the top, the mountain never disappoints – overcome by the beauty of the view below us, we will take a moment to embrace our emotions and you’ll see why this is one of the Best hikes in Montenegro! Also, it's time to open the backpacks and grab the lunch box prepared by the tireless chefs of Resto Bar Taraca, as a lot of energy needs to be replenished.

In places like this, a half-hour break goes by quickly, and it's time to slowly and safely make our way back to the minibus. From there, we'll take a 20-minute drive to Organic Family Farm, where dinner will be served. No time for guilt now; dig into the delectable traditional dishes and make this Montenegro outdoor experience count!

We return to our base after a two-and-a-half-hour trip, so don't be afraid to doze off as our driver ensures that we get in Kotor on time and safely. Days like these can feel like they last an eternity, and how much delight can be crammed into 15-16 hours? We'll leave it up to you to decide on this one.
