    Details

Welcome to Kotor Cruise - one of the best things to in Kotor!

The boat tour begins in the Old Town Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled at the end of the Bay of Kotor. This medieval town is a treasure trove of history, with its well-preserved walls, old buildings, and winding streets. The town's charm lies in its blend of various building styles, reflecting its varied historical influences.
About 30 minutes into your boat tour you’ll pass the baroque town of Perast. Even though we don't visit Perast, you'll be able to see it from a different perspective - taking a million photos from the boat. Here you will take your first glimpse of Our Lady of the Rocks (ME: Gospa od Škrpjela) and St. George (Sv. Đorđe) islands.
The best way to cool down during the hot Montenegrin summer is to have a stop in the middle of Boka bay. Dive into its crystal, ink blue, waters near Bijela for a well deserved swim break. Now, refreshed and relaxed, our boat tour continues towards the mouth of the bay. As our Kotor cruise continues, you can see the towns of Tivat and Herceg Novi in the distance.
At the very entrance of Boka Bay you’ll spot a former fortified prison and concentration camp called „Mamula“. The original purpose of Mamula Island was to serve as a defensive fort. Its location held the perfect defense position, protecting the entire Bay. It was only during WWII that the Italians decided to convert it into a concentration camp. You’ll be passing by to carefully seize the wild interlace of history and nature and see what it has become today. A 5 star luxury hotel. As you boat tour continues, we reach the open sea. Soon you’ll arrive at the most attractive cave in the region – its majesty, the Blue Cave!
As the boat sails out of Kotor Bay, the first major highlight is the Blue Cave. Located on the Luštica Peninsula, Blue Cave is famous for its dazzling blue waters. Montenegro’s Blue Cave has two openings. Through the larger entrance a boat and smaller vessels can enter the cave. This will allow you to attend the incredible game of light and water in its interior. As the cave is accessible by boat, upon entering, you'll be greeted by a surreal blue glow. Swimming and snorkeling here are not just refreshing but also a must! It is one of the best things to do in Montenegro. For a real experience of the cave, we recommend swimming from the boat and using snorkeling masks to explore the world beneath the surface of the water. For unsecure swimmers, we will provide life jackets. These shades of blue will hardly be able to be seen anywhere in the world, and clear illuminating water calls you to dive into the atmosphere of this natural theater. Don’t miss being part of this blue world. Shake it to create some ‘sparks’ and enjoy! It’s already 11:30 am and the right time to head back to the Bay for some more attractions!
First one is former military tunnels - strategically hidden in rocks, where Yugoslav navy stored their torpedoes and submarines during the war. These hidden tunnels, carved into the rock, were part of Yugoslavia's military defense system. They were also designed to hide and repair submarines and naval vessels. Today, they stand as a stark reminder of the region's recent history and offer an intriguing glimpse into military architecture. Our captain will approach these tunnels as much as the boat allows (maybe even enter inside if the sea is calm), so you can admire this historical site from closer range.
As the boat glides towards Tivat, you'll encounter Porto Montenegro, a luxury yacht marina and village. This modern and vibrant village contrasts sharply with the historical ambiance of Kotor and Perast. Porto Montenegro is not just a haven for yachts but also offers upscale restaurants, designer shops, and contemporary art galleries. It's a perfect spot to experience the luxurious side of Montenegro's coastal life. We disembark at Porto Montenegro - a beautiful, modern luxury town and a yachting paradise within the bay of Tivat. Enjoy your lunch and take some free time to look around the “poshy” streets. Now, time to continue our boat tour to the most visited island in Kotor Bay - Our Lady of the Rocks!

According to the legend, the islet was made over the centuries by local seamen after finding the icon of Madonna and the Child on the rock in the sea on July 22, 1452. Over time, the islet gradually emerged from the sea. It took 100 years to build the isle and 100 more to complete the church. Now, Our Lady of Rocks is the protector of all seamen who come to Boka Bay. Your tour guide will make sure to inform you about more details about the island, church and museum. Next to the island of Our Lady, there is a natural one, St. George with a church from the 9th century and actual monks living isolated, hence the entrance is strictly forbidden for tourists.
As the day winds down, our boat tour heads back towards Kotor. This is the perfect time to capture the stunning sunset over the Bay of Kotor. The golden hues of the setting sun against the backdrop of the mountains and the tranquil bay create a picturesque scene, offering a serene conclusion to an eventful day. As we approach our disembark point, we’ll pass old beautiful villages on the opposite side of the Bay: Stoliv, Prčanj and Muo. Our Kotor Cruise is not just a journey through beautiful landscapes but also a voyage through time, culture, and flavors. It offers something for everyone – whether you're a history buff, a nature lover, or simply looking to relax and unwind. With its combination of natural beauty, historical richness, and modern luxury, this tour promises an unforgettable experience in the heart of Montenegro. Embark on this adventure and create memories that will last a lifetime, all while exploring the best that the Bay of Kotor has to offer. SEE YOU ON THE BOAT TOUR!

This was the best day of my week's holiday in Montenegro, Nina and Nickoli looked after us professionally. This is a very relaxing way to spend a day, we cruised to the Blue Cave where we were transferred to a smaller boat to get in, I found it to be too busy in the cave for my liking with lots of other boats but you get the opportunity to swim in this beautiful place briefly before being transported back to Zanjice Beach for a lovely lunch and dip in the sea. On the way back we visited the submarine tunnel which is fascinating, you can get off the boat, explore the tunnel and swim in the sea. We were provided with information, a few drinks, fruit and towels during the day and it really is a great way to spend the day and also excellent value for money. On the way back we diverted to Porto Montenegro due to a thunderstorm and they treated us all to a drink at a bar while the storm passed, even so they took us to The Lady of the Rocks on the way back, it was too late to go in but they made the effort to take us. Don't hesitate to book this, you won't regret it!
