Experience a private Kotor Bay boat tour with a custom-made cruise boat for the most enjoyable journey on the water—welcome to a private Kotor Bay boat tour!
We embark in Kotor, and shortly after sipping some welcoming champagne, we have our first swimming break to cool down from a hot day. Refreshed, we are headed straight towards the Blue Cave, passing the entire Bay. As we go around the famous former prison “Mamula,” we reach the open sea. Swimming in fluorescent blue water inside a natural cave is one of the best attractions of Boka Bay!
From there, our Kotor Bay boat tour goes back through the Bay, passing some small fisherman’s villages and sneaking into famous Yugoslavian military tunnels where they were hiding their ships and submarines.
It’s time for a lunch break at Porto Montenegro (luxury town and marina) to regain our energy.
The evening hours are the best time to visit the famous island of Our Lady of Rocks, both the church and the museum, when all the tourists are gone.
Now we are ready to go back home! It was a relaxing ride back, followed by astonishing scenery and a burning sunset.

Our Kotor Bay boat tour takes you on a water exploration of the Bay of Kotor. It is by far the best way to do it, so we decided to build a custom spacious trimaran in Montenegro for an enjoyable private Kotor boat tour experience!
This private boat tour is designed for travelers who want to escape the crowds and burning rocks off the coast and relax with a panoramic private boat ride along the Bay.
Spend all day with your private boat tour sipping champagne and eating fruits while admiring the rocks above and refreshing in the crystal clear water of the Adriatic Sea.
Your tour guide will tell you the tale of Boka Bay and point out all the necessary information about the locations visited.
Embarking is in Kotor port.
The first swimming break is expected just about 20 minutes after the start. To get to the Blue Cave, outside of Boka Bay, we must pass all four smaller bays—Kotor, Tivat, Risan, and Herceg Novi.
The coastline is beautifully decorated with architecture from the time of the Venetian Republic, but among many, the glorious Perast town is most recognized.
The history of this area has been turbulent since the beginning of time, and, as the monuments witness, the hardest memories come from two world wars. One of the most significant reminders is undoubtedly the imposing fortress island Mamula, a former Concentration Camp and prison, also called Montenegrin Alcatraz, located at the very entrance of the Bay.
As we pass by Mamula, we soon come to the most famous Cave in the country—its majesty, The Blue Cave! Considering the size of the boat, the only way is to swim in, and we have provided life jackets for all insecure swimmers and children.
The Cave is naturally shaped by the sea, which has hit limestone for thousands of years. Now, the sun’s rays can break inside and create fluorescent watercolor. Amazing. Dive in and shake your body to see!
From there, we returned to Tivat Bay. This time, we stopped inside an ex-Yugoslavian navy tunnel, which was used to hide warships and submarines.
Just across Tivat Bay, we stop for the lunch break and have free time to explore Porto Montenegro. This yacht paradise and luxury town inspired by Venetian architecture abounds in restaurants and shops, reflecting the Mediterranean and marine life.
From Tivat, we sail back to Kotor Bay, and our final stop is the famous artificial island of Our Lady of Rocks, built by generations of devoted and religious sailors and captains. We visit the church on this ship-shaped island and hear why this holy place is considered a protector of all people in the maritime business and why the legend still lives.
After another swimming break, your full-day private boat tour is completed.
The time to sum up the impressions and disembark is in Kotor.
