Your adventure kicks off in Kotor with a scenic drive through Montenegro’s stunning landscapes. Perast is your first stop. This beautiful coastal town is home to medieval buildings and the famous Our Lady of the Rocks island church. Incredible photo stop opportunity!
We’ll stop at a scenic viewpoint over Risan to admire the turquoise waters and towering mountains. Then, we’ll head inland to the Salty Lake near Niksic, a peaceful spot that highlights Montenegro’s diverse landscapes.
Piva Lake and Mratinje Dam offer stunning views of rugged canyons and sparkling blue waters. If possible, we’ll take a quick stop to enjoy the scenery. On the way to the rafting camp, we’ll pass through over 50 tunnels, making the journey even more exciting!
We will start our day with a hearty Montenegrin breakfast upon arriving at the rafting camp. As safety comes first, before the rafting starts, our guides will give a safety briefing and provide helmets, life jackets, and paddles.
The Tara River, often called the “Tear of Europe”, winds through one of the world’s deepest canyons. Surrounded by Durmitor National Park’s untouched beauty, you will navigate through thrilling white water rapids. Towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush forests make the entire experience surreal. The rafting tour balances excitement with calm stretches, allowing you to soak in Montenegro’s wild, natural beauty.
Beginners and experienced rafters alike will enjoy a safe, exciting journey through the rapids with our expert skippers.
After an action-packed morning on the river, you’ll enjoy a traditional Montenegrin lunch at the rafting camp. Savor delicious local dishes and experience Montenegro’s warm hospitality. This meal is the perfect way to wrap up an incredible day of adventure.
